Anti-Paxos is a tiny - two square mile - island just below Paxos.

Paxos has over 15 small beaches scattered around the island. Most are small pebble or stone beaches however Mongonissi beach - located on the southern tip - provides a sandy beach popular with families.

Paxos is a great choice for anyone who loves spending time on the beach and swimming in exquisite turquoise water. With over 15 beaches to choose from - the majority located on the east coast - you are spoilt for choice daily. All Paxos beaches are shingle and pebble stone excepting Mongonissi Beach located on the southern tip. The east coast beaches are known to be more easily accessible and family-friendly than those located on the west coast which is renowned for its sheer cliffs and deep caves. Bartek and Plakes beaches, both small pebbly beaches located on the east coast just outside Gaios on the coastal road towards Mongonissi, are two of the most closely located beaches to Paxos StoneHouse. Bartek and Plakes Beaches are both easily accessible and within easy driving [10 minute] or walking [30 minute] distance of Paxos StoneHouse.
Avlaki Beach, a small pebbly beach located on the west coast that is shaped like a groove around a long rocky inlet, is another nearby beach. It's a wild beach popular with people who enjoy rock climbing, jumping and snorkeling as well as isolation. Avlaki Beach is slightly tricky to access as it's down a long pebbly path but well worth the effort. It's it takes around 10 minutes to drive or 30 minute to walk to Avlaki Beach from Paxos StoneHouse.
Mongonissi Beach, Paxos's only sandy beach, is located on the southern tip. When on Mongonissi Beach you have access to a full beach service [Drinks, sunbeds, umbrellas, bathrooms, changing rooms, showers, watersports etc] from the nearby Mongonissi Beach Restaurant. The sandy beach and range of facilities makes Mongonissi Beach extremely popular with families. It is also here where you will find the friendly, funky, hip and happening Carnayo Gold Lounge Bar. Mongonissi Beach is easily accessible and within easy driving [15 minute] or walking [45 minute] distance of Paxos StoneHouse.
The beaches of Kamini Gouva and Stafiucha, both small pebbly beaches located on the east coast on your way from Mogonnissi to Gaios, are two more closely located beaches to Paxos StoneHouse. Kamini Gouva and Stafiucha beaches are easily accessible and about a 15 minute drive from Paxos StoneHouse.
Kaki Lagada Beach, a pebbly beach surrounded by rocks located on the east coast 1km north of Gaios, provides shallow waters and therefore perfect for families with young children. Kaki Lagada Beach is easily accessible and about a 15 minute drive from Paxos StoneHouse.
Kipiadi Beach, located in an expansive bay popular with sailboats and superyachts, is Paxos's longest beaches. Whilst enjoying the magnificent waters and white pebble stone beach you can view some sensational sailboats and superyachts that are anchored here for the day. Kipiadi Beach is easily accessible, located about 1km south of Loggos and about a 20 minute drive from Paxos StoneHouse.
Monodendri Beach, Paxos's most fashionable and vibey east coast beach about 1km north of Loggos, is serviced by two beach bars / lounges / restaurants - Monodendri Beach Restaurant and Ben's Bar. Both establishments provide a full beach service [Drinks, sunbeds, umbrellas, bathrooms, changing rooms, showers, watersports etc] and both have bar and restaurant facilities. Monodendri Beach is easily accessible via either Monodendri Beach Restaurant or Ben's Bar and about a 20 minute drive from Paxos StoneHouse.
Levrechio Beach, a small pebbly beach just south of Loggos, offers crystal clear deep water so popular with people wanting a good swim. The beach also has an extremely popular little taverna; perfect for a midday or late lunch after a few hours in the sunshine. Levrechio Beach is easily accessible and about a 20 minute drive from Paxos StoneHouse.
Marmari and Kipos beaches, two lovely secluded bays located right next to each other with pebbles verged by shady trees, are only a short distance past Levrechio Beach. The beautiful terraced olive trees provide lots of natural shade. Marmari and Kipos beaches are both easily accessible via Levrechio Beach and about a 20 minute drive from Paxos StoneHouse.
Harami and Kanoni beaches, both providing shallow turquoise waters and spectacular views of the boats and yachts anchored in the bay of Lakka, are popular with families. The beaches are pebbly, there is a sandy sea bottom and nearby taverna that offers drinks, food and a limited number of sunbeds. Harami and Kanoni are both easily accessible from Lakka via a small, treeshaded footpath. Lakka is about a 20 minute drive from Paxos StoneHouse.
Erimitis Beach, one of only a few west coast beaches accessible by land, is perched beneath spectacular towering white cliffs. Erimitis Beach only appeared in 2007 as a result of cliffs collapsing! Ermitis Beach is tricky to access and frequently windy but it is well worth a visit if only to soak up its exotic appearance and stupendous sunsets. Erimitis Beach can be accessed by road via Magazia; follow the signboards down an unpaved road for around 3km and until you you reach the cliff edge. From here it is a walk down a narrow path to the Erimitis Beach. Erimitis Beach is about a 20 minute drive from Paxos StoneHouse.
